If you are not sure where to look first, try turn looking inward. I often find that's a good place to start. Don't be misled by labels or lies.
Music: We have a gig tomorrow: Saturday, November 8th, 4 - 8 pm at the oldest bar in San Francisco, The Saloon 1232 Grant Avenue. Parking isn't as bad as it is at night. Come early for best seating, no cover, 21+. Always a fun time. Craig Cafall and Dave Powell will be heading up the guitar onslaught - it will be tasty. 😉
Food:
Recalls: So many food recalls lately. If the prepared pasta recall (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, more...) is of concern, look up Nate's Fine Foods for more info on that.
Vegan: Are you familiar with Miyoko's Vegan Creamery? Miyoko is attempting to buy it back. Backstory: A couple of years ago, she brought in investors to help expand her offerings. who allegedly attempted to cut costs/increase profits by changing some ingredients. They had a falling out, and as is usually the case, money won that round -- Miyoko got booted out of the company she founded. Now, to make a long story short, the company is liquidating, and she is making a bid today to buy it back. You can join the effort by donating and/or sharing.
Lots more going on. Start where you are. It's logical.
