I'm gathering information on the West Marin ranching issue - note the different approach each publication takes to the story.
I usually view lawsuits as a last resort, but I'm glad to see the County taking a strong stance on this particular issue.
Again, it is unfortunate that there had to be a lawsuit to bring attention to this matter, but that's life in the real world. I know we can achieve balance. My feeling is there are many non-profit organizations who would be more than happy to help the ranchers maintain the land. Social enterprise is an earned income model worth looking into for a multiple victory.
Please feel free to send me any additional info on this subject.
