Much of this podcast resonates with my core values, so I'm sharing again - especially for the part on "disagreeable givers" which starts at around the ten minute mark.

Our former neighbors Frank Lurz and Charles Sands, while each have different political views and backgrounds, can be described as "disagreeable givers."
I'm sure that at times, I've been viewed as "disagreeable" - I am definitely a "giver."
Same can be said for anyone who has ever stepped up to the mic at a public meeting to express discontent and/or question a decision of the "powers that be." These are the voices that need to be heard.
Listening is a core requirement of leadership.
Best Regards,
Mari
